Purpose:
The City of La Habra Heights Park and Recreation Commission was created on August 10, 1995. The Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all matters pertaining to parks, community recreation, parkways, and street trees. It considers uses, activities, and recommends to City Council for continuing use of The Park and The Park building. The Commission also considers the annual budget for parks, recreations, parkways, and street tree purposed during the process of its preparation and make recommendations with respect thereto to the City Council and the City Manager. It also assists in the planning of parks and recreation programs for the inhabitants of the City, and promote and stimulate public interest.

Meeting Schedule:
Parks and Recreation Commission meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room.
